Women's program at the university of chester
​Launching in 2025

We are pleased to announce the launch of a women's academy in 2025 at the University of Chester. The program will be modeled after the successful women's academy at the University of Gloucestershire.
​
The women's academy will run alongside the present men’s academy at Chester and in conjunction with the Women's Chester FC program. Oversight of all training and the program philosophy will be overseen by the UDA coaching staff. 

The program offers women looking for an international, global experience in a professional soccer environment while studying a degree they are passionate about. 

Our women will have the opportunity to train alongside and experience the Chester FC women's team in the Division One South of the North West Women's Regional Football League.

Why the uda chester women's soccer academy?
​This is an experience outside of your normal U.S. collegiate system which typically offers you something more than a degree while playing the game you love. 
​UDA offers the most comprehensive student athlete experience for its students and families across its academies. We offer more than a training and game program. We offer an experience and opportunities that focus on student success both on and off the field. 

We achieve this through excellent training facilities, the latest technology for training and game performances, UEFA qualified coaching staff, professional and career development, student support, and alumni connections all within an integrated university experience.

WHAT YOU GET INSIDE OUR ACADEMY

  • UDA on-campus Student Support Officer
  • Three on fields sessions per week that are either training sessions or games
  • One game per week either at a local women's team and or within the university system
  • Access to strength and conditioning programs and gym membership
  • Individual fitness testing
  • Access to sports psychology and a diet and nutrition plan for optimal performance
  • Match analysis session
  • Opportunities to connect with local professional clubs and experience the pathways into employment.

Students can choose from a variety of degree programs that meets their career needs: Chester has over 80 degree programs to choose at either the undergraduate or the graduate level.
Note: Students seeking a degree in Sports and Exercise Science can receive scholarship funding for the degrees listen below:

Experience UDA Chester this Summer!

Our Summer Tour is designed to provide the student athlete with a comprehensive experience ‘across the pond.' Professionally designed and organized, the tour is an opportunity to explore the rich soccer culture of England, visit The University of Chester, and train and meet with UDA Coaching staff. Not only will the tour provide a first hand look into UDA program, but players will be able to tour iconic soccer stadiums throughout England, creating a memorable and worthwhile experience
This experience will give you an opportunity to feel what it is like to be a UDA student athlete.
