Academy Tuition: $12,750 USD
|
Accommodation: approx £5,000
- Guaranteed Housing: All firm-choice applicants who apply by the spring deadline are guaranteed a place in university or partner accommodation*
- Safe & Supportive: On-site porters provide 24/7 security, and the Residential Life Team helps students settle in
- Convenient Locations: Housing is located close to campus, offering easy access to classes, facilities, and city life

- Cost Range: £113–£205 per week, depending on location, catering, and room type
CAtering/Food: Approx £2,500
There are plenty of places to find a bite to eat or go for coffee with friends on our campuses.
We work closely with our catering outlets to offer meal schemes for students living in self-catered accommodation, private sector accommodation, or at home. Meal schemes are a great way to ensure you’re having regular healthy meals, and they offer you the chance to learn how to budget and save money!
There are also lots of ways to save money at our sites via our catering initiatives. For the 24/25 academic year, we’ll be offering hot Value Meals for less than £3, alongside our free Too Good to Throw meals, which will be served on a first-come, first-served basis from 2 pm.

Scholarships
The University of Chester offers generous international and merit-based scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate study, providing a significant reduction to the published headline tuition fees. You will automatically be considered for these scholarships when submitting an application and any award given will be shown on your offer letter.

FUNDING OPTIONS
There are several options available to help U.S. students finance their education at the University of Chester:
1. Self-Funding
Students may choose to cover their tuition and living costs independently.
2. FAFSA (Primary Funding Method)
The University of Chester is fully approved for U.S. federal financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
3. VA/GI Bill Benefits
Chester accepts Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) and Veteran Affairs Chapter 35 benefits for eligible U.S. veterans and their dependents. Eligible veterans and dependents can use these benefits toward approved degree programs.
4. Private Student Loans (Optional)
In addition to FAFSA, private lenders may be used to cover tuition and living costs.
5. Apply for Scholarships through Private companies:
Below are examples of websites where you can search and apply for scholarships offered by private U.S. companies. Each year, more than $100 million in scholarships go unused nationwide simply because students aren’t aware they exist. Be sure to confirm with each scholarship provider that the funds can be applied toward international study before submitting your application.
There are just some examples of websites where you can search for scholarship/funding opportunities. There are plenty of others out there.
