Our Mission
To provide student athletes with an internationally recognized university degree, a developmental soccer experience and opportunity for multiple pathways in their chosen career within a fully integrated university experience.
The UDA program offers the opportunity to be trained by professional, UEFA "A" licensed coaches with year-round playing in a competitive schedule of games for your development. Additionally, the program gives you exposure to professional visiting coaches from the English leagues to help you further develop and reach your optimal playing potential.
The program is designed to match the top level European development academies that offer a balance of training to game ratios that have produced top players in Europe. The focus is on your development as a player, a person, and a future graduate with multiple pathways into the game. |
UDA is focused on your success beyond the pitch. We're founded by educators with football expertise who recognize the value a meaningful degree provides. Be part of an international organization, not just a football program, in the US or the UK that will give you wider opportunities upon graduation. |
Our staff have over 100 years of collective experience living and working in a university setting. Due to our extensive experience we offer real player support as you balance university study, training and playing. We value, and most importantly, understand, the integration of what a true student-athlete needs for success. |
The historic City of Chester, the Shakespeare region of Gloucestershire and the charming Southwest region of Las Cruces in the USA offer an unparalleled living, studying and training experience for our student athletes. |
Our select academy players have the opportunity to attend and compete in showcase events in the UK and the US. |
In addition to completing your degree in three years and gaining real-world, hands-on experience, the passage of the Graduate Extension Scheme allows those obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree eligible to apply for a two-year work visa upon graduation, allowing you to seek opportunities in the UK. |
|
Soccer academy and academic timetableUDA will coordinate the timetable of the football academy with our student's academic schedules to ensure that you are given the best opportunity to succeed in the classroom and on the field. Training will take place after the academic day is complete, usually in the late afternoons or early evening.
*Academic courses take precedence over training times. |
